Project Overview

NaviVeikot Oy, a Finnish company specializing in educational software, developed a navigational app called HeiJoe, designed to combine problem-solving and physical activity for schoolchildren. The app was widely adopted at Joensuu Teacher Training School, where its creators also work as teachers and teacher educators.

Education Entrepreneur & Scholar
University of Eastern Finland

I have collaborated with Eero since 2014 on multiple projects. He has proven to be an exceptionally creative and visionary thinker, both in graphic and musical solutions. At the same time, he is highly committed to logic and functionality, which has elevated our project execution to an excellent level.

Solutions created by Eero have always been delivered on time, and he has been highly attentive to the client’s needs. He’s an extremely reliable collaborator, and his contributions have been invaluable.

My Role & Contributions

I was commissioned to produce an introduction video to showcase the app for the Finnish National Agency for Education.

Using video footage provided by Kimmo Kotro, one of the app’s cofounders, I created a concise and engaging trailer. To enhance the video’s flow, I incorporated custom motion graphics and on-screen explanatory texts. For the soundtrack, I licensed my music track What Did Jeri Do?, chosen for its playful and adventurous vibe – it had previously been used in another of the company’s projects.

The final video was delivered in both Finnish and English versions.
