Project Overview
As the opening number of the headline concert at the Hailuoto Music Festival 2021, countertenor Teppo Lampela’s expressive and tender voice guided listeners through the prayerful texts of the Virgin Mary’s sorrows in Antonio Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater. The piece, based on a 13th-century Catholic hymn, reflects on Mary’s suffering as she witnesses the crucifixion of her son, Jesus. Oulunsalo Ensemble was conducted by Jackie Shin.

As the festival’s executive producer, I organized the concert, and in my role as technical producer, I captured the performance in high quality, transforming it into a polished online video experience.
