Project Overview
The second recorded and filmed educational orchestra period by Oulunsalo Ensemble featured French violin virtuoso François Pineau-Benois. The diverse program included concertos by Finnish contemporary composer Matti Murto, Arcangelo Corelli, and Antonio Vivaldi, culminating in the timeless Winter from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons. Pineau-Benois also performed a popular solo violin piece by Eugène Ysaÿe. Beyond his role as soloist, he conducted a masterclass for the young student violinists of Oulunsalo Ensemble.

I strongly support Eero Karvonen. He is an excellent audiovisual engineer and a talented composer. Working on projects with him and playing his music is always a pleasure.
My Role & Contributions
This educational project was recorded on January 30, 2022, in Tulindberg Concert Hall at Oulu Music Center. As the technical producer, I captured and crafted a high-quality audiovisual production to be released on YouTube as a full-length concert and, later, also as individual video segments. Elisa Vesterbacka provided additional still photography for the project.

Graphic Design
Here’s a poster I designed for this event before we were informed that no audiences be allowed due to yet another wave of social restrictions during the pandemic.
